Well, and think of how trashy the Torrie/Dawn stuff was then they played the womens side of it.

The problem I'd have is WWE taking a straight wrestler and making them "play" gay. Its unfair to the wrestler playing the role, especially since kayfabe is so blurred now in WWE, to have to play gay to millions on Monday night and then go live their normal life the rest of the week. Especially when there are definitely wrestlers who can play the role openly, and push for the nuance it needs. I think thats a big part of why Kenny/Kota works so well.

I have many thoughts about goldust but I honestly wasn't old enough at the time, so I would be looking backwards on it. Dream is more Prince than gay and Ibushi/Omega is weird. There's been rumours about Omega being bi, but honestly I don't know.
