Ali is pretty damn over, and i think Gulak has been a standout. that Nese/Gulak match was one of my favs of the tourney. Roddy stepping right in to the title shot would be shitty to the guys that put up with the garbage that was the initial rollout.

 

i do wonder if Roddy is staying on main after this. he hasn't accomplished a ton in NXT and Undisputed could probably use that extra member like they teased some months ago.

 

Ali and Gulak both have been killing it

 

Guess I haven't watched as much as I thought but every time I turn it on the crowd sounds like crickets. Did either of them do anything significant or they're just having better matches?

 

They’ve both turned it up a notch lately. Gulak has been absolutely brutal and Ali probably had his best match ever a few weeks ago

 

Gulak has improved tremendously. I haven’t even watched this tourney but as an entertainer, he made gold of nothing, and was a standout in the most dull era of 205 live

 

I care about both of them more than I do about Roddy

 

the crowd will prob always be crickets as long as they're subjected to dark matches, Main Event, and two hours of Smackdown beforehand. it's just a lot of largely mediocre wrestling to sit through

 

Gulak and Ali are great

Yeah I’ve never understood the whole Chyna thing. Her and X-PAC released two pornos and she did stuff way later. There’s really no difference.

 

Probably Steph putting the kibosh on everything Chyna related.

 

Its so amazingly backwards, because they had a chance to rewrite Chyna's history this year by putting her in the HOF. The parallels with Andre and the ARMBAR are perfect (8th Wonder, 9th Wonder....Chyna being the first woman in the rumble). It could have been one perfect mea culpa, all with the control of their video team and Network to tell the story they want.

Instead we're getting tributes to Jeff Jarrett and Moolah...

Even if you buy into the WWE logic that Chyna is untouchable (which I think is slowly fading away—Stephanie talked about her during the women's Royal Rumble, Triple H has spoken more positively about her lately, she's included in Ivory's video package for the HOF), there are still plenty of women you could name the battle royal after. Alundra Blayze, Bull Nakano, Wendi Richter, Mildred Burke, Sensational Sherri, Luna Vachon. Shit, even Trish or Lita. You could even double down on Mae Young. Beth Phoenix clearly has a good relationship with the company right now and she also entered the Royal Rumble. You could easily make the case for naming it after her.

 

I have mixed feelings about this..........

 

Chyna really is the only person who makes sense but lmao at that ever happening with Steph there forever.

If it wasn't for all the baggage of moolah...yea she's the first person when I think when legenendaru female wrestler.
