It’s gonna be one of those Brett hart/Goldberg/ultimate warrior type of reruns. Never in a million years you’d think it’ll happen but it really did, way too late. I think things are too sour rn. Maaaaybe if he loses another ufc fight, he’ll come back, but rn he looks and feels better than he’s ever been in wwe.

 

Raw Thoughts:

- This feud continues to do some things very well, and other things, uh, not good. Which is about what I expected. If anything, it's overperforming in my opinion. Who knew Kurt still had this in him mic-wise? He's incredible. I also liked how Ronda just came out and said "You" instead of playing into Steph's BS. Whether that was a flub or not, I think it worked for her character.

- Side note: Anyone think its possible Steph only gets her ass whipped for like 10 seconds in their match and is mostly kept away from Ronda? As stupid as that would be it serves a dual-purpose: 1) Keeps Steph looking as safe as possible (always #1 priority) and 2) minimizes how much Ronda works. OR, even worse: HHH goes over.

- Nia can only work 1 type of match apparently. And Alexa still can't bump or sell for shit. Doesn't bode well for their eventual feud.

- I have no clue where the Raw tag titles are going. All I know is that the Usos 100% deserve a straight-up match on the main show, so I'm glad they're doing their fucking around in the Raw title picture.

- Need more Goldust. Always.

- I wish Bayley would stop acting like a heel and doing this stupid shit. They're not fooling anybody. As much as I love the "EPIC" six-week slow burn to an eventual preshow WM match, they aren't gonna turn Bayley heel. That moment from a few weeks ago where Bayley pushed Sasha out of the way of Nia (even though Sasha had been doing/saying shady shit in the past few weeks) was amazing. THAT'S how Bayley should be characterized. The no hug thing was okay, but the tag stuff was really bad.

- Well that backstage segment with Alexa & Nia was just awkward as fuck.

- Heyman got up there and talked for 10 goddamn minutes and I couldn't have been more bored. You can't sit there and try to put the title over when the entire storyline is that your guy doesn't care about anything. I'm sure some people loved this promo. It is Heyman. Felt very black/white to me. Whatever. I've already made my feelings about the angle they're taking clear.

 

Seems like Mysterio will be okay to fight Liger as they just promoted it on the New Japan show.

Coachman has been mentioned in a sexual harassment case filed against ESPN, Meltzer didn’t have too much to say about it. I don’t think all the information has been put out there yet. Can’t be good for Coach though.

 

i think he's legitimately much worse than booker. obviously that matters nil next to the alleged harassment, but i'd be happy to have him off the booth

 

i’be barely watched raw since coach joined in but at least book occasionally made me laugh

I'm a little surprised coach was on the whole show last night, you'd think if they were aware that they'd tell him to go home at some point. They've been really pre-cautious with the other situations, it made him being there all night weird. At one point I think Braun was gonna put him through the table to write him off, just in case haha

 

Watching the NJPW Anniversary show. Liger will forever be the most over guy in wrestling. lol
