Its a hard reset of the division...but, coming off a pretty successful CWC tourney, hard not to feel like its just gonna end up the same way a year from now where we list Strong, Cedric, Gulak, Ali and a few others as "former CW champs currently doing nothing"

 

everything he said is all speculation from his internal sources. 90% of all meltzer hate comes from dirtsheets reporting his speculation/"rumblings he heard" as him stating facts

 

If they only do one a month that is dual branded, and that five hour is 4 hours and the pre show (so just an extra hour), I think that is fine. Gives midcarders more chances to get on the card.

I'm not surprised by the lack of ticket sales for EC - predictable main event as well as the two gimmick matches being a nightmare to view live from anywhere in the arena outside of the floor and first level

 

it's a total shit sandwich. roman winning the EC, alexa retaining in her EC, which both lead to god awful mania matches. two programs fans should universally hate

then you've got asuka vs. nia (yawn) and rousey getting booed during her contract signing.

that's literally it. that's your ppv. (so far)

worse yet, they probably will run out a 6-man tag CW match on the preshow that ruins the tourney kayfabe.

They clearly didnt learn from last year, where putting their midcard belt in the EC match made for a shit PPV overall (and they put 7-men in the match...so Miz literally shouldnt be there). Bray v Hardy is gonna be a wet fart, and the only tag match I can see is Revival v Club v Bar, which is 3 heel teams with no collective build.

So, at best, 5 matches, a contract signing, most of it created within the final week before the PPV

Chamber is usually good fun even if its mega predictable. I think the men's match will have some really great spots, and I think the women can pull something solid off with who they have in there.

 

despite the inevitability of roman winning, the men's match will still be fun. at the very least, braun is going to tear that match up.

or course Roman will win, but at least in that match there is a negative five percent chance they go with Braun. there's literally no way anyone but AJ wins Smackdowns.

 

EC is a pointless ppv, I'm sure they'll be fun stuff in the chamber matches but you know all the outcomes so it kinda sucks. The last time I remember a surprise at one was when ryback won the IC belt.
