An hour-long pre-show on WWE Network/Youtube thats basically interviews, etc makes sense. Maybe a dark match. Too many stars there not to run out some extras

But god dont let Raw be 4hrs long otherwise

Yep, probably something like an hour long Network preshow about the history of Raw, the 3 hours and change of a normal Raw, some Raw fallout post-show on the Network again for roughly 5 hours.

 

Seems like they didn't have a lot booked for tonight. Wasting tv time for Charlotte Naomi and roode entrances

Is the rumble preshow going to have multiple title matches? There isn't time even on a 4 hour card for two rumble matches and five other matches. Even doing four would be tight. Or will just get a bunch of unsatisfying short matches because WWE wants to cram as many matches in there as possible.

 

I'm curious to see if the women's rumble somehow hurts the guy rumble in terms of rumble fatigue and interesr.

In a small way I think it has. The women's rumble is definitely the most must watch aspect of the entire ppv. Like I barely even really thought about the men's rumble and who will win. I think it's mostly due to how everyone assumes it's reigns vs lesnar at mania so everything else until then is borderline meaningless

According to wrestlinginc.com, Triple H & Stephanie McMahon attended the Television Critics Association Winter Tour event in California on Tuesday. The couple were asked about Rich Swann’s WWE status (Swann has been suspended since December due to a domestic dispute issue with his wife). Here is what they had to say…

Triple H: We are just waiting on legal. We have a zero tolerance policy on that, as you’ve seen, so he’s suspended until it is determined legally one way or the other.”

Stephanie: “And if he’s convicted, he will be released.”

Triple H: “Immediately.”

 

But that doesn't mean that Reigns will necessarily be the Rumble winner. I think Elimination Chamber is a Raw PPV this year so maybe he earns his #1 contender spot at that event and a SD guy wins the Rumble. Praying for Nakamura to win and set up AJ vs Nak. But it's WWE so I'm not banking on it. Haha.

well, there's 5 title matches scheduled, and Id assume that a CW title match gets made at some level. So, odds are the pre-show is gonna have 2 title matches and a qualifying match of some sort.

Interesting question is what titles get bumped there. I could see the RAW tag titles being the last pre-show match to give all 4 time to rest up for the Rumble match. CW title being the other.

i will concede that Woken Matt seems to be headed off a cliff real fast. my only hope is he is moved to Smackdown after Mania, which seems like an obvious move to me. existing on the same show as the other spoopy personalities is bad.
