Graves is at his worst when he's needlessly bickering with Bryon and talking nonsense over the action (which he did at points last night). It reminded me so much of Cole and JBL that it almost seems like a Vince thing. I don't know if the solution is to just get rid of Byron or tell him to reel it in a little or what

 

Yeah, Graves sounded a lot like JBL last night. Bummed me out.

 

Yeah, I like graves. But when the match is already putting the authority figures ahead of the wrestlers, and then the commentary team is spending half the match bickering with each other instead of calling the match...

 

What matches are worth watching from COTC last night?

 

US and Tag Titles are both very worth watching

I would actively advise against watching everything else except maybe the finish of the Owens/Zayn tag

 

Yeah, but when Graves asked Byron when his birthday was, then immediately said it was cancelled because of Rusev Day was hilarious

 

I'm fine with a face/heel dynamic between the announcers. I think it brings a lot of entertainment to the in-between moments. It just gets to be too much when there are three people at the desk. I mean, it's so clear to absolutely everyone that three announcers is a detriment to the product EXCEPT Vince & co. apparently

 

I like face/heel announcer dynamics, hell I even generally love Corey shitting on Byron, but it got a bit much last night especially during the KO/Sami match.

 

Three person broadcast booths are awful in every aspect, and not just in wrestling. It's bad in all sports, too.

 

Face heel dynamic is fine. Just have the announcers remember it's not about them and so they shouldn't sped the whole match shittalking each other and ignoring what's happrning in the ring

 

Imagine Byron or Cole with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman

 

I would rather listen to Joe Buck broadcast everything in the world over Michael Cole call another PPV.

 

The commentating during the KO zayn match was so awful i have never been so annoyed

 

Also, the "Triangle....shoulders were down...TRIANGLE" part of the match might have low-key been the best part of it all\

But yeah, watch the first two matches and turn the thing off. Anything interesting will be in the recaps on Tueday
