Yo doods. So I'm doing WrestleMania in NOLA for my bachelor party this year (which means I'm very generously giving up my free press pass with access everywhere) to actually pay for a ticket like a plebe. Wondering if anyone has gone to Mania at the Superdome before and has any intel on good seats to get? I've got a handful of dudes who are supposed to come who aren't into wrestling at all and are balking at the ticket prices, and I'm gonna feel like a real asshole if I push the $250 tickets in the 100 section on everyone, only for us to end up dealing with terrible sight lines and all that jazz.

 

I need to look at the layout of the stadium but I sat right under the balcony. There wasn’t anything obstructing the view other than it just being far away. Luckily they had monitors so I watched most of it on that. It was hell walking through the super dome though. Those walk ways are tiny.

Yeah, the seats I was eyeing look like they are just under the balcony to the 200 section suites. Far away, but still close enough to feel like you're part of the show (whereas I'm assuming the nosebleeds you're just feel like you're watching on a big TV and wondering why you didn't just watch from the comfort of your own home?).

Chad's always been a great dude to me, but I'd feel sort of terrible being like, "HEY DUDE WHO I ONLY SEEM TO TALK TO COME WRESTLEMANIA, CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT TICKETS??" so maybe email is a little bit less overwhelming?

 

That is true. Part of the reason I haven't hit him up for ticket advice because I haven't talked to him in a long time.

Actually, no, I did email him once for a question about where to sit but then was like "he won't know my email address" and then I text him to say that I emailed him and just responded with "I won't acknowledge your email without a carrier pigeon to tell me about the text message."

Then like three days later he gave me like a bunch of different options in the stadium where I was going to be at.

 

Idk if that means I should email him or text him........... Or if I should email him, but then text him to tell him I emailed him. This is getting confusing. I think I should just get the seats in the 100 level.

What do you guys think is the better option? Section 139, where presumably you've got a good view of everything happening of the stage and you're a little closer to it? Or section 154, where you (again presumably) have more of a straight ahead view of the stage and the ring?

At first I was thinking section 139, but now I'm wondering if 154 would be better all around...

I think I sat in 144 or 145. My wife hates it now because we had risers for 32 and floor for 33 so she’s spoiled now.
