Why are AOP wrestling singles matches? The main roster formula for tag feuds is so broken...both guys are great as a pair, and look thoroughly mediocre working by themselves

Tag team feud? Pair them up and put them in singles matches!

Singles feuds? Combine a couple of them together and put them in tag matches!

I think what NJPW does is smart in building, and while WWE overdoes it, its fine.

Tag teams should be facing other tag teams. RAW has what, 6 regular tag teams + the possibility of reuniting American Alpha, repacking Breeze, etc? I should be sick of seeing those matchups before I ever see Titus in singles competition.

In the same way I dont ever see Nick Jackson face Tama Tonga one on one

It works to some extent. It can definitely be a useful tool in building feuds. WWE just goes to the well too many times with it.

Guys like the Revival and AOP shouldn't be in singles matches in order to help build up how they are Tag Team Specialists. And while combining a couple of big baby faces to team up in a tag match against a couple of big name heels, shouldn't be an every other week kinda experience -- save that stuff for house shows.
