Yeah, only way to top it was to let Ciampa win in some screwy way...I thought the stretcher spot was gonna end it actually, which would have been the safe move.

But what madness to book that finish. That's classic Vince stuff burning the crowd down like that

The ref being out of the picture for the taps only to come back just in time for the finish kinda took me out of the moment for a second.

They should have made it a bit more explicit that he was injured when Gargano was going for Ciampa in a stretcher. I thought the match had been called when all the suits came out, so that was a bit of a mess.

Still an excellent match, same level for me as their first meeting

 

I still don't get how takeovers quality keeps improving but main roster PPVs keep getting worse. Its not a roster thing. Yet despite having a clear pattern as to what works for PPVs, the main roster ignores it.

 

Gargano clearly knocked the ref down. Clear as day.
