WWE was toxic for Punk. He needed a clean break, even if that meant losing some of his friends there.

I can understand Corey being sad that he lost a friend, but blaming Punk for trying to remove himself from a toxic situation is an incredibly shitty thing to do.

 

Yeah it seems like Punk cuts off communication with people on a whim.

 

I hate watching WWE after watching a NJPW show lol

 

I wonder if he still talks to Kofi.

 

I watched something on the network a few months ago with Kofi and he talked real high of punk still.

Yeah, I dont know how anyone watches RAW after that Dominion show. The absolute balls to book Jericho as champ, and then the two-year build they paid off in Okada/Omega...how am i supposed to care about Roman/Jinder or Lashley Zayn?

 

I'm not sure WWE cares much right now, they're probably still partying from the new smackdown deal

curious to see what Punk does next. he’s in a weird spot where he wouldn’t be welcomed back doing what he wants to do and he’d look like a knob crawling back to what made him famous. if he wanted to do the acting thing i think he’d be better at it than most who have tried, but much less successful because he has kinda tarnished his brand outside of this niche. maybe he just writes stories for Marvel and goes to Blackhawk games and enjoys retirement.

 

Retiring comfortably at 39 sounds like a damn good situation to be in
