"This song is an album in its own way. 1 minute and 16 seconds can share a lifetime of information. Recorded in Dartland. This will be the last track released by this project for the foreseeable future. It's been a wild ride and more than I could have ever asked for."
'foreseeable future' just means 'we're talking some time off at the end of an album cycle like it was normal for bands to do a few years ago'
this was my favourite band before and i always thought it was strange how they can be so good / have potential but even their "full length" had what sounded like incomplete songs.
When this came out, I enjoyed it for a few listens but didn’t really understand the hype. As of yesterday, I have seen the light.
I thought this was a huge step up for them, so hopefully that remains the case even if it's a solo project.
This band is getting absolutely dragged on twitter over the statement. Not because it’s bad but because they said anything about it at all. Very strange.
