    I watched this the other day. Unreal. This is basically damn near the theoretical limit for time. Can't believe he passed his old time. Maybe only 1 or two milliseconds more he could push it.

    For comparison, the fastest time it's ever been done using an emulator, a computer, and playing the game frame by frame to achieve "perfection" is 4:54.03. So only a 3 second difference for a human is crazy

    There was only one moment of a stutter I noticed in the entire run. Where he backtracked a, like, single step more than he needed to. The margin of error for this is just comically small.

    I remember when I played this game growing up, and it would take me probably more than this amount of time to get through World 1-1.

    I didn't even know about the warps growing up so it would take me forever to just get through world 1 haha
