5/6. I was so surprised when, on my fourth guess, I had the first 4 letters but that fifth letter turned out to be gray. It ended up being the more common word though, so I probably should've just thought about it a bit more

Yeah, I've definitely put in 6 letter words ending with "e" before, only without the "e" of course, on thought to myself "come on, that's still basically the same word. It's not like the 'e' is doing anything for the word here. You can take it, Worldle"

my girlfriend and I have gotten into the groove of playing this every day, including dordle and quordle -- and the german wordle which is quite frankly bullshit lol

(she also does the worldle but I just don't see the fun in identifying islands with a population of less than a thousand people.)
