I got in the right area but couldn't remember every country name in there and DEF didn't know shapes. got as close as 91% twice and 95%, but had no idea what country that was even after it told me

I got this in three based on your description (I don't care if it's a spoiler because I'm not good at this game). I just narrowed down the area and then chose something from the dropdown list that sounded close. haha.

 

Glad that my failure could be of use! To be honest, I didn't even think that would help much, but I had forgotten about the dropdown menu. I was so convinced it was Tuvalu at first, the shapes look so similar
Also, looking at a map, apparently this territory is disputed and Mauritius, which was my 6th guess, claims it, so personally I think I should get credit for this one

I just noticed earlier this week that the NYT wordle is not keeping track of my streak. It says that I've got them all right which is correct but the counter is stuck a 37 day streak every time I open it up and I've been playing this since early January..... should be up over 50 by now. Also it never remembers my dark mode setting. Kinda annoying tbh.

4/6 for the Wordle

The Worldle took me a minute and 4 guesses. At first glance it kind of looked like a really poorly drawn UK (with the entirety of Ireland crashing into it). I knew that this country had a very asymmetrical shape, but didn't quite realize it looked like that. And got the globle in 7. Guessed like 4 different countries that bordered it before getting it
