4/6. First time I had all five letters before getting the actual word. Could've gotten it in three but used a word that I knew was wrong to get placement info because I couldn't think of anything I used that country as my first guess once or twice and am kind of disappointed that I didn't switch back to it. But started with a bordering country and got it in 3

I got it in 5/6 on the old website, then hit refresh page and I got the NY times site, and it allowed me to do it again. I got it in 4/6 the 2nd time. ok. I got my first 1/6 - lol Be careful with your streaks - some are saying things were messed up for them

Yea, I'm still on the original worlde site and I refreshed it and it let me do it twice but it counted the last stat to. I just did the same thing so as not to cheat I guess but it definitely added both attempts to my guess distribution. 4/6 today for me. It was sort of a tough word, but I had decent guesses that got me there especially since my first 3 vowel word hit nothing. Without getting solid early guesses, I may not have gotten it. Man what a terrible one today. Still ended up with 4/6 but took me forever after my 3rd guess to even come up with any words that fit with what I had left. Thinking up a 5 letter words starting with U with the N eliminated already was what got me. SPOUT WRUNG LURCH ULCER
I took 4 today, I think I've just decided that'll be almost every day since I'm more of a letter eliminator than a word guesser, if I can figure out all the letters after 3 guesses than the 4th is usually down to one option STERN COUGH PLAID ULCER
