Wow, I had no idea hard mode existed haha. I’ve been playing under those rules all week, just self imposed. It improved my average score too! Turns out using information rather than just playing the elimination game is more effective for me

Difficult word today

 

Didn’t realize there is a hard mode but aren’t you supposed to be using the revealed letters in your subsequent guesses anyway?

 

I try not to use random letters, but it's happened a couple of times where I'm on 4/6 and have no clue, so use 5/6 as a random word to eliminate letters to then be able to guess it on 6/6.

Gotta keep that streak alive.

4/6 with a 5 day streak. I got 3 letters on my first guess and then struggled from there.

 

3/6. Really should have gotten it in 2 but was talking to someone while I was doing this and completely forgot to use one of the 4 letters I got with my first guess. I had to stare at it for a second, confused as to how I got less letters in my second guess than in my first...
