I get selling to the NYT, even if it makes me upset as a player. If I invented a silly little game purely to just play with my family, and someone came along and offered me over a million dollars for it, I'd do it, too.

 

4/6. Had a good first guess, probably should have gotten in 2 if I were thinking clearly. Went with a word with a double letter and a plural (albeit an apropos plural considering the events of yesterday) before getting it

Forgot to say yesterday I got 5/6. A tough one for sure.

 

3/6 today, I could probably save my self from more 4/6s if I just sit and think for a bit instead of rushing it. Thought about it after my 2nd guess and finally realized what it was.

Same. I've basically been using the same 3 starting words every time, which has given me 4/6 almost every day but I think I'd get a lot more in 3/6 or even less if I took my time.

It's like going to Rocky Horror, and getting up on stage with a blown up balloon, and popping it in between your knees!

 

I think I very nearly tried that 3rd word thinking, "this probably isn't a real word, but it does fit everything I have so far." Guess it's a good thing I didn't or I would have been in for an unpleasant surprise

 

I just always assume it will be a weird word and sometimes it's normal haha

This one felt like an aesthetically ideal round for a good basic word haha.
Good standard starter, good first two letters with a yellow, and the third guess felt like one of the only words I could come up with based on what was eliminated.
