6/6 today and had the last 3 letters on my 2nd guess

 

I actually wonder if in some cases it's better to get less correct letters with you're first couple guesses. Obviously it makes it harder to get an amazing score, like a 2 or 3. But it also means that, by 4 or 5, you're likely to be down to only one or two possible words.

Just thinking that several people got the last three letters pretty quickly and then had to go through several variations of what the first two letters could be, which would have already been eliminated for me because I literally had just 1 yellow after my first two guesses. I think there were similar issues with "prick" as well. Also thinking about this because I saw an article on the "ideal" Wordle algorithm someone created which showed that it was advantageous not to always use the clues you've been given in each guess

I’ve been on a losing streak all pain

 

This seems to be the safest strategy, I often ignore the letters I get green and try and eliminate the remaining letters, I rarely go past 4 guesses

Today took me 5 though, I really fucked up on my 4th guess

 

Crushed it in 3 today after getting NOTHING on the first 2 words.

This left one vowel (a), and with the letters left, there wasn't too much i could spell.

 

4/6 today. Still had only one letter in the wrong place after 3 guesses, so I wrote down the letters I had left and it was the only one that made sense.

DAMN! Didn't get it today.

 

Four today, nothing very special. Did a good job eliminating letters so it wasn’t a difficult run, but just kind of blah.

 

20 days in. Been making it a point to never use the same opening words, I think going forward I’ll try committing to using any revealed green or yellow tiles in all following words

6/6 today. Couldn't figure out the First and last letter today

 

My first 3/6! (Not assisted by my girlfriend!)

5/6...maybe could have done 4/6 but decided to do it right before class was starting/as the morning announcements started so wasn't really thinking, left out a whole yellow letter on the 4th guess. Not my best first guess either, don't usually like guessing words that end with that on the first try.
