Wowwww. Jaw dropped dude. This looks like an all out brawl of a movie! Love the way the action looks!

 

This looks awesome. Love that it's a period piece.

 

Wow, this movie looks so good.

 

I hate that they are keeping that godawful screeching guitar theme from BvS.

 

Wait ... her theme is fantastic ...

 

Yeah the score was great and WW theme was the best part

 

Sooooo much Snyder hate lol. His name is still on as a producer on all these films including this one....plus since he got this whole universe going, didn't he give us this version of her that we all like so much as well as the story beats for this movie since it had to be planned out already when BvS was made.

Sure BvS had script issues, but there is a ton of stuff he did right. But don't let me ruin the mood

 

Yeah I must echo the love for the Wonder Woman theme. It was one of my favorite pieces of score. My wife likes to play it during work out sessions.

Wonder Woman's score was like my second favorite part of BvS, haha.

 

I like the theme. Reminds me of Mad Max and the guitar guy haha

 

Her theme reminds me of Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song.

 

It reminds me more of a chase scene from a 90's horror movie.

Hopefully the Mad Max guitar guy has a cameo though.

 

Mentioned this in the theater to my sister watching BvS

 

If there's a Fury Road sequel Wonder Woman should be there kicking ass with the wives

 

I'm betting on this movie being better than Justice League. And that's not a knock against JL.

 

I am so all in for this movie. That said, one thing I'm kind of tired of (not really a knock against WW, just action movies in general) is the mid-fight slo-mo/stylized action shot. Keep it all realtime I say

 

I'd generally agree, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't love seeing Diana in slo-mo wrecking everyone like the freakin' beast she is.

 

oh for sure, that slide across the floor looks bonkers

 

I think it would be cool to do the super-physical Jason Bourne style fight choreography where it's really fast and shaky and you can hear bones breaking and shit.

 

Yeah, and don't get me wrong, it's super easy to make that type of fight choreography look bad, with a lot of quick cuts and making it a big hard to follow mess. But for instance I thought Daredevil's fight scenes were super impressive and didn't really rely on anything flashy. Or The World's End, Edgar Wright made all of those fight scenes very fluid and easy to follow while also really entertaining.

back to WW though, that scene where she's messing dudes up in the street with the lasso and the one using the shield to block that machine gun has me so hyped

edit: also the Amazonians riding at those soldiers on the beach holy shit

 

The last season of DD's fight seasons are really bad. Please no.

 

Sorry I should have clarified season 1. Agreed S2 was pretty whatever
