I'm like halfway through the second one. So far it's fine for what it is but it definitely loses a lot of what made the first one so special. That first one is really something else, it really affected me in a pretty substantial way unlike anything I've read in a long time.
People should see Annihilation in theaters. To support it in general yeah but the spectacle of the unbelievable effects and design should be seen big and isolated in a theater. Itll be just as good a movie at home, as great movies are, but I’m very glad I went to the theater for it.
I'm hoping those allegations rise up around the time of Venom's release. (Or, you know, sooner. With all the stuff happening daily, though, it might be easier to get traction for allegations when the alleged creep is already in the spotlight.) If I remember right, those really haven't gone anywhere yet outside of vague tweets?
Yeah they got really little-to-no publicity at all beyond some tweets and maybe a throwaway news article in a few places. It came out around the time he won the Emmy for The Night Of. Was super disappointing because I was a huge fan of his.
I thought Steve’s sacrifice at the end of this was a great end for that character. I hope bringing him back doesn’t cheapen that.
$50 says he went through a time portal of some sort. I can see why Patty didn’t like Whedon’s version of Wonder Woman due to Diana knowing that Trevor didn’t die. I need a good comic book film set in the 80s after the disappointment of X-Men: Apocalypse.
