All I know is that it's insanely premature to talk about this and Dunkirk's Oscar prospects, I don't want to hear the name Oscar until like November at the earliest
WW may not be the best movie, but it getting recognized is great for comic book movie fans. With all the positive fan and critic reception it has, it makes sense for WB to push it.
If a comic book movie were to get a BP nom this year, I'd say Logan deserves it the most. Not super unusual for this to get an Oscar campaign, though. I mean...
Yeah but Make Up and Costume design were great in SS, if that was all it did right lol. I'm tying to think of what I think WW did best overall so far this year......
Post about a cool thing WB is doing and people only talk about garbage movies. Good times. At least I get a few more laughs at the pathetic defense of SS though. That's always fun.
Yeah I didn't like it. It was better than SS though. It's telling that a studio is doing a cool thing and the responses are so predictable and negative.
Close to thinking any defense of SS should be ground for a week long ban. I need some payback for sitting through that trash.
Oh Logan and SS aren't even on the same level. WW is far above SS too. I think I replied with positivity though and left my Logan opinion out of it so this conversation didn't happen lol
A nom would be great just to see a worthy movie from that field get the attention it deserves, though I don't think it's deserving of a win.
I understand the digital vs physical dates, but anyone who was going to buy it is still gonna buy it, no? I shouldn't argue. The sooner people can see it in their home, the better.
I agree that overall physical releases feel quicker then they have in the past, but Justice League has got to play a part in the quick turnaround for WW. They wanna get as many eyes on this as possible to try and convince people to see JL in theatres.
