This was a great movie, I was pleased! You earthlings may be weak, but at least you can make good entertainment!

  2. Ya they pretty much adopted the Snyder aesthetic for that last fight, which they could've done without, even though I like Snyder.

Finally got a chance to see this a couple days ago. Absolutely loved it.

Also really impressed that a 9pm Tuesday night showing of a movie that came out a month ago still had a packed audience. Glad this is doing so well.

Interested to see if this moves around at all at the end of its run.

It'll definitely beat Man of Steel. Maybe Suicide Squad. Batman v Superman may be tough.

I think this film is fine, but I'm surprised it's been so critically acclaimed. There's nothing about the story that is particularly unique or great, it was all very predictable. It's probably the most coherent DCEU movie so far, but that's not saying much lol. Overall, I'd probably give it a solid 6/10, but I won't be in a rush to rewatch it anytime soon.

WW got banned in Qatar, Lebanon, and Tunisia because Gal Gadot is Israeli.

I'm not sure what banning the movie accomplishes. Are they going to start banning any movie with an Israeli actor/actress?

It's moved up to the #2 domestic film on the year.

#3 in DC films domestically, only behind The Dark Knight and Rises.

In the DCEU, it passed Suicide Squad and MoS in foreign markets, grossing the second highest behind BvS. Still $100 million behind that, which likely won't change much.

I like that WB is going to try to get it nominated but I feel like if any comicbook film this year should get a win then it should be Logan.

This was definitely really good for a super hero movie but it doesn't deserve anything but maybe technical Oscars at all imo

If I could only give one comic book film a Best Picture nom, it'd be Logan, but I also don't care about awards and am happy with any comic book film that I like getting any positive recognition. The first major modern superhero adaptation starring a woman getting all of the recognition can't really be a bad thing.

I can get behind Patty winning Best Director but if this film is nominated for Best Picture then I will be really confused. The Dark Knight and The Avengers were not nominated for Best Picture, so Wonder Woman getting nominated would be absurd.

I'm fine with it being nominated, but the third act is just not conducive of being named Best Picture worthy.
