This was fun. Overall I actually enjoyed the beginning the most. The Amazons, and their world was really well done. Gal did great as WW. Though I actually didn't think the action scenes were that great.
Just my two cents: The spoiler tag is easy to use. I try to use it whenever I remember. I'd rather not be the source of someone's sorrow if I can avoid it. Reading something that I wish I hadn't is a bummer. But mistakes happen, if something does slip through, I won't make a huge deal out of it. In short, I do my best to be courteous to others, I hope most people do too, but if a mistake happens, that is life. Spoiler truthers sound like they would be great at parties though: "Oh wow, what happened last season on Game of Thrones was amazing..." "Oh wait! I am behind, no spoilers please." "Spoilers don't exist, knowing plot details doesn't hinder your enjoyment at all, stop trying to impede my discussion. So as I was saying, when all of those main characters died I was SO surprised. I didn't see it coming at all! It was amazing." Also, I am not wild about the WW theme.
The final sequence was a little underwhelming, but No Man's Land, and when she first gets to the village I thought was unreal.
I feel like the Wonder Woman theme is good, but would be so much better if it sounded bigger and more grandiose. It sounds too much like it's building to something. The melody works, it just needs to be variated
If only the TDK theme carried over from Nolan's movie for Batman, I'd say we have a great trinity of theme songs. I really dig the MOS and WW theme songs, but Batman's is forgettable.
I also think its smart and great that the themes carry over from movie to movie. I hope they continue that. It will only get people pumped while watching each film to hear the familiar theme per character.
well that's not true, when a new ep drops everyone talks about it. At work, parties, ect. It's a fair comparison.
No, because the initial discussion was about a place designed solely to talk about the film or show. A party isn't doing that.
Wonder woman isn't even a mystery movie or anything. Not sure what there is to spoil that would hinder your watching experience THAT much I would agree that a week is a good grace period. I avoid all threads for movies I haven't seen.
Both options are easy. Spoiler tags are easy and avoiding the thread is easy. But I would think that one would want more people in the thread or reading the thread than less. If someone is on the fence about going to see a movie and wants to pop in to skim people's thoughts / reactions, my preference would be for a policy that encourages that.
I only go on this site on my phone and it's annoying to type out spoiler tags. Plus if you need random people on the internet to tell you whether or not to see a movie then I don't know what to tell you ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm always baffled at discussions centering around basic decency and how willing people are to reject showing even the most simple of kindnesses simply due to a very minor inconvenience.
Basic decency? Lol ok. I've always had the expectation of threads focused on whatever movie/show/game to have spoilers once the content is digestible, it's not hard or some attrocity to avoid a specific thread.
I was merely pointing it out that I thought it was strange to go into a movie's thread while being on the look out for spoilers. Feel free to clamor on about being denied basic decency though, lol.
Yep imo if I haven't caught up on movie/tv show I stay away from the thread. If you're mad at people spoiling stuff in the ACTUAL forum to talk about said stuff that's on you.
im gonna go move past this discussion. So i'd like to reinstate my opinion that theaters need to end this IMAX 3D crap. It was the most recent time available so I said 'whatever ill splurge', and what the hell was the point of that. If anything it made the experience worst because my vision wasn't perfect (blocked and fogged up). it's my fault for going but ahhhh
Anyone know what Wonder Woman was flowing towards at the end? she put down the picture after she heard a loud bang and left her secret hide out to go see what it was but the shot of the city didn't show anything was happening.....then she just flies towards the screen. Didn't know if I missed anything.....
