Well fuck, I wasn't concerned about having to use HBO Max on my Chromecast before, but my Roku Ultra is the only 4K device I own lol.
Interesting that you can't sideload apps on Roku. Was able to do that on my firestick prior to them and HBO coming to an agreement.
I think that's just because Fire sticks are android-based, so people were literally side-loading the mobile app installer lol. Even if Roku had an option for side-loading, there isn't another type of device with Roku's OS that has an HBO Max installer to grab from
I would be disappointed if it wasn’t 2.5 hours long. The fact that I can watch this at home makes that run time a total non issues don’t that’s pretty normal for super hero movies outside of movies like New Mutants and Harley Quinn.
Most comic book movies are longer than they need to be. It’s such a breath of fresh air when one of ‘em ends up around the 2 hr mark.
I'm not usually thrilled by long movies, but if it's as good as the first one, I'm going to love it regardless
Cool. I watched Criterion’s extended Tree of Life last week. Doesn’t mean I’d personally want a movie about, like, Harley Quinn or Venom to approach the same length, lol. Which, isn’t even to say I’d only watch a long comic book movie if it were ~*cinema*~ or whatever. I liked Endgame a lot (though that has affected how likely I am to revisit it). But, I’d love if most of these superhero blockbusters got the job done within about 2 hrs.
There was little to be concerned about with Jenkins still having control of the wheel, but these reviews are uplifting.
Absolutely pumped for this. With all of the delays and what not I sort of forgot that this is set to be released in just a few weeks.
