I mean, they already said all their stuff will be connected. It’s happening. The MCU has had a very mixed bag in terms of quality in phase 4. But the best of them have done well. They’re doing just fine as far as sticking around. yup
Between the “Star Wars” movie getting canceled and this, Patty Jenkins is having some shit luck. Kinda sucks because I thought the first “Wonder Woman” was a bright spot in the early DCEU. But it makes sense that if Gunn wants it all to fit, changes have to be made. I just truly hate connected universes at this point, but trust in Gunn.
eh i think the DC characters could absolutely compete with marvel if done well. we've seen that with several batman movies at this point.
Just give me a good movie where Superman flies around with the red trunks, and one where Poison Ivy kisses Harley Quinn, and something with Milestone Media. Preferably spaced out from each other, and also spaced out from Spider-Verse & Venom flicks.
If I was to bet I'd say Pattinson is "The Batman" for Gunn's DC road map. Affleck and Keaton will be in 'The Flash' but not have any connection to the future of DC.
According to that link: “Although Gunn and Safran have been given a mandate to reshape the DC landscape, Warner Bros. Discovery has “ongoing enterprises” that “nobody was going to mess with,” according to one insider. This includes […] J.J. Abrams’ Black-led “Superman” from Ta-Nehisi Coates…” Ta-Nehisi Coates (so far) still working on his version of Superman makes me happy.
Apparently the WW3 plot was gonna bring back Steve Trevor again using Lazarus Pits and have the League of Assassins at war with Themyscara. I’m now totally fine with them moving on because using Batman villains for other heroes is one of my biggest pet peeves.
Yes I saw that. And we really didn’t need another WW movie where she pines over Steve the whole time.
