That wrongful offsides on Carli's goal literally changed everything. Fuck.

I honestly don't know what Jill was doing in this game. Pinoe should have never fucking touched the field, two subs were wasted on her.

I thought it wasn't an offsides call, but a foul call? Sweden also could easily won it if not for the bogus offsides call on them right after, too.

 

Ugh, this loss is so frustrating. I still don't understand leaving Tobin at right back for the rest of the game. We fucking have Ali Krieger. Tobin being back there didn't do any good since she couldn't really play up and serve any balls into the box.

Jill was relying so hard that Pinoe would be ready and that strategy fell flat on it's face. I'll be surprised if they don't fire her.

The flag was up for offsides and all the soccer Twitter personalities were saying "wrong offsides call" so I'm pretty sure it was offsides.

And while the exact same thing happened to Sweden seconds later, it would never happen if the US goal is scored and the team is allowed to reset it's shape.
