AM13 has been more one-note in this stage of her career and she has no current form. Not too happy with Albert getting in but there's no one else to replace her.

 

I think Tobin and Christen nailed it in last week’s episode of Re-cap. There’s been no public consequence from the federation. I feel like a public enjoyment of another player’s injury should be a hard ban but that’s just me. Hopefully she’s actually doing the growth Emma Hayes insists she’s doing but I’ll believe it when I see it. Real disappointed in Trinity for defending her. This just isn’t the team I fell in love with anymore.

I think Sam Staab should’ve been an alternate over Hershfelt. No defender as an alternate worries me. Stoked for Croix though, she’s running away with ROY

All of that is so wild. Imagine defending your medal and feeling the need to do THAT against New Zealand.

 

They only got caught doing it to NZ. Have to imagine they’ve done it to many more. Feel for the players but they’ve indirectly benefited here. Gotta disqualify the team

I’d love to be excited about this team but the presence of Korbin Albert and the lack of meaningful response from anyone currently playing, coaching, and the federation makes it real hard to care

Yeah this is a huge deal. Like needs to be investigated by Canadian Parliament type big deal. IOC needs to disqualify the Canadian Soccer Association from this Olympics entirely right now. Both teams.
