I'm dying that the announcer keeps saying "H-A-O" instead of how it's supposed to be said. Foudy tried to subtly correct him once but he didnt get the hint lol

 

Lmao they are trying real hard to get Broon a goal, she got pushed up into the midfield.

I saw her pushing up toward the 18 in the first half and I died. I hope she gets one.

 

It's always so weird when you know a player has so many appearances and then find out they haven't scored. There's a player like that on Barcelona and I want him to take one penalty, just to get it over with.

 

I'm so happy my girl Emily Sonnett is playing right now. She's been so good in her rookie season for Portland.

 

Wow did you guys know that Lindsey Horan skipped college to go pro? This is news to me.

 

Yeah. She immediately went to PSG and played as a forward there. I think Ellis is the one that made her a midfielder.

That statement isn't unexpected in the least. Disheartening, but not unexpected.

Coupled with Rapinoe being one of the faces of the lawsuit, that's two direct statements now towards two out of those five players. Have a hard time believing there's not a little bit of a ploy to undercut the wage-gap argument now with Pinoe, too. They've just built a legal argument, however shitty, that "why should we pay you more to represent this country if you won't honor it."

 

Statement isn't that unexpected, but the tone deafness of unironically mentioning "reflect upon the liberties and freedoms we all appreciate" definitely took me by surprise
