Their debut album is awesome. Saw them live in December. Front-woman Ellie Rowsell is quite the looker
Has anyone here met them before? I always see a decent amount of photos of them with fans, after shows and such. They seem to be nice and personable.
One of my favourite albums from 2015. Bought it on iTunes because I'd heard 'You're A Germ' on the radio and it was only £4.99 at the time, an absolute bargain.
Yup they were insane. Got to geek out and chat and take some pics afterwards too. Made my day to say the least
Seeing them Thursday night and I'm so excited for it. Then seeing them again in like 3 weeks or so when they open for the 1975
Bumping because god damn I love this band. Favorite album from last year, just spun it this weekend and it's just great song after great song. Really hope I can catch them live soon... definitely have a crush on Ellie haha. Glad to see they seem to be taking off.
They sounded awesome at Glasto. The fact they were playing the fucking Pyramid (main stage) in the afternoon is so amazing too. Joff slices his finger open on his guitar and there's blood in the video in case you don't wanna see that kinda thing:
Omg why can't that video be available in the US??!? I never get what I want. >_< Also I've only ever heard their album in the US so it has Moaning Lisa Smile as the 4th track. I didn't know that's not how the album was intended originally in the UK until later on. I kind of want to be a purest and listen to it without that track included(and have done it), but I always just leave it where it is and I think it works well for the album. And I just bought the US version of MLIC on vinyl last night so I can't wait to hear that. Another thing is that box set they have on pre order is tempting but apparently they are not shipping to the US. Paying close to $100 for that after shipping is a little bit of a stretch anyway.
During their Lollapaloosa set(streamed it) they said they were now going back to the UK to make new music. No more shows in the US for awhile because of that.
