I don’t think Visions is bad or anything!

 

Only on song six but holy shit, Ellie is singing her ass off on these songs. They absolutely soar. This album is such a vibe.

This is a trip. Need a few more listens. The Last Man on Earth, in my opinion, is one of the best songs of the year. I saw them at a 500 cap venue in Cleveland when they were supporting Visions. I think it was a Monday or Tuesday and it wasn’t sold out. It was so strange to me, knowing they’re massive overseas. I was so close to the stage and in Europe they’re festival headliners.

 

I had to wait all day until I got home from work to listen to this but it was worth the wait. Need a few more spins to let it sink in.

Am I crazy for thinking Delicious Things sounds like a Lana Del Rey song?

 

Ha! That’s awesome. I was at that show too, it was so, so great. I worked at the local radio station at the time. they came in to the studio and performed ‘Bros’ and ‘Moaning Lisa Smile’ on air with us that day. Remember that show and in-studio very fondly!

 

This band is truly one of the best

 

No surprise, it’s great

 

Can def hear this as an influence, helps that the lyrics are something Lana would probably write too haha. It’s a great song.

 

The singles might be my least favorites on the album, which is more of a statement of how dang good this whole thing is front to back than it is detracting from the singles

definitely hear that kind of vibe across a few songs, 'Feeling Myself' as well

 

I'm only through Feeling This and this album is fantastic.

 

This was my first Wolf Alice album and I'm gonna go listen to their other stuff now. What a fucker of an album.

 

i've been stuck in work meetings all morning so I haven't been able to listen yet but all of these posts have me very excited. it'll be hard to top Visions for me but I'm ready

 

I really love Visions but it took a few listens to sink in. This one was much more immediate. The choruses are just massive.

 

Yeah Visions took me a while also, coming off the rager that was MLIC it didnt hit immediately.

 

After I realized it for Delicious Things I definitely started to hear the influence elsewhere

 

AOTY. The vocal range on this album is insane.

 

Ellie is a very, very underrated vocalist. Her range is insane.
