The rules for these types of plays need to be changed. If Thomas whiffed and missed the ball the contact still likely would have happened and it would have been called a foul, but the fact that she tipped it 0.2 seconds or whatever it was before the contact makes it not a foul? That’s so ridiculous, she was never going to make that play without contacting Collier.
