excited to check this out tonight when I get home. Honestly love nearly anything John C Reilly is in.

 

This show doesn't feel like it's getting much buzz yet from many basketball fans.

 

Loving this so far.

 

Yeah this is right up my alley. Love it. John C Reilly is so good.

he was great and I know he's supposed to be a rough 34 but it was so noticeable that Adrien Brody is closer in age to John C Reilly than Gillian Jacobs haha

I didn't like the grainy film reel shots in the pilot, but i'll admit the 80's VHS-ey looking shots in this episode were really cool.

 

it's nowhere near as bad as jason clarke and lola kirke, especially when jerry's wife was only a year younger than him

 

I’m absolutely loving this

Everyone is so good. Clarke and Reilly especially. I could not imagine Will Ferrell in this role at all.

 

i can really see michael shannon though

Jerry West is the only role I can see Will in

 

I think he would have played it too comedic

 

clarke is maybe the best actor on this outside of reilly. i can’t really see anyone else doing this.

 

Good show is good etc

 

This episode I think was my favorite so far. Brody as Pat Riley might be my favorite part of this. Looking forward to seeing his evolution throughout this series from down on his luck loser into the legendary Pat Riley everyone knows.

hope we get multiple seasons. would be cool if this one ended with them winning the title, next season with riley as coach, another season with lakers and kobe

 

It's way too much history to be confined to one season. Showtime Lakers lasted over a decade and we haven't even got to Magic's first NBA game yet.

 

Yeah give me 5 seasons of this

 

this was the first episode I noticed how bad the wigs are on this show, what did they do to my boys Tracy Letts and Jason Segal

 

have you been turning away from the tv every time jason clarke is on screen lol
