GRAMMY-nominated producer Will Yip has announced the opening of Memory Music Studios, a state of the art recording studio in Philadelphia, PA. Located in South Philadelphia, the 8,000 square foot facility boasts four unique studio spaces including three live rooms, two artist lounges, and one of the largest inventories of guitars, drums, and amplifiers in the world [see images / video tour below]. Having shaped the sound of alternative rock for more than a decade, Memory Music Studios sees Yip reinvesting in his hometown - a city that helped define both his career and the broader indie ecosystem. With this new space, I wanted to give artists a reason to stay in Philadelphia, and a reason for other artists to come here.
