unsurprisingly Paul Dano did a great job directing
Jake is very much supporting but he's terrific
this is probably Carey's best performance , what she does with her voice/accent is Natalie Portman in Jackie level, and she completely commands this movie
the kid who played their son also was great and reminded me of Dano at times

What is her accent? Because... Montanans don't really have accents

 

I'm not sure, I know she went to school in Washington in the movie but not sure what her accent is supposed to be

It's absolutely baffling that Carey Mulligan isn't in the Best Actress discussion. If anything, she should be the frontrunner. I haven't seen a performance this year that comes close to this.

Glenn, Gaga, Melissa and Olivia were all great though, so I have a feeling that I'll be happy whoever wins but Carey for sure should be in the running

 

Don’t forget my poor snubbed Toni. This year has so many incredible performances.
