just fucking bizarre

 

After the review didn’t come for like 2 weeks I was fully expecting some fourth line 5.2 or something.

 

It’s probably my aoty so far

 

The almost three-week wait along with dropping it as a (non-lead) review on a Wednesday gave me all I needed to know.

 

This band is going to get its due someday. I’m hoping it comes when they’re still actively making music.

 

Pretty wild to learn that 2 members of bing & ruth play on this album.

The instrumentation here is so good that I’d love this even without any vocals.

 

i just randomly discovered this and wow it is nice. remember that song with Julien Baker from earlier in the year but damn this whole thing hits

Just saw them live and woooow they just get better and better each time I see them, great show!

 

Their discography is so good! I love every album but A Billion Little Lights is definitely my favorite

 

I think this is my new favorite by them. But yeah, all their albums are insanely good.

Album is so good. Interesting that people are finding it good for fall, I feel it’s a summer nights album - which is great as we have just begun down under

 

yep I love driving down some long Australian country roads blaring this band it turns out. just pairs so well

on that note listened to A Billion Little Lights + accompanying EPs today. real good stuff, this band has something special. also very rude of none of you to tell me they covered my favourite Carly Rae Jepsen song, smh

 

For those in the NYC area, they're doing a free show at Lincoln Center in January.

That is a fucking awesome tour and I’m very glad it’s coming here

 

I think my love of Wild Pink makes me think they are bigger than they are. I was so psyched to see them play Brooklyn last year at this 500-capacity venue and there were maybe like...150 people there.

 

I would love to see them again and they’re coming two nights here, but I’ve actually never listened to The New Pornographers. I’ll have to listen and see my thoughts on them.

 

Mass Romantic is a great starting point for New Pornographers
