Simply glyphs needs more love

Absolutely Simple Glyphs goes hard

 

I haven’t had too much time to listen to music this week but I don’t think I’ve listened to anything else but this. I can’t get enough of it

 

I haven’t seen much love for Abducted at the Grief Retreat either and that’s one of my favorites.

 

i had no idea they were playing here next month. holy shit I'm actually going to see them live.

wrote about Yolk in the Fur for the newsletter but my co-writer was a dweeb about it (probably still my favorite WP album)

 

I like how war on drugs it is but I wish it wasn’t sandwiched between Camry and terror. That fifteen minute stretch is a bit of a blur

 

I love this album, but War on Terror is the most forgettable on here. I haven’t delved into the lyrics, though, and doing that might change things

 

Agreed that the mid-section of this album is a bit of a lull. I don’t think the songs are bad at all but the sequencing makes me feel that way

 

highly recommend an evening walk with this album. done it a few times this week and its perfect.

Hold My Hand is heart-wrenchingly gorgeous

 

Are there any videos of them performing the new songs live?

 

Just had an hour-long drive with peak fall foliage and played the album front to back and it really clicked this time. This is a special and dare I say perfect record. They outdid themselves on this one.

 

The J Mascis solo is in See You Better Now correct? Such a cool song

 

yep, that and ryley's are such cool moments

 

Absolutely love the end of The Grass Widow

a podcast host/publicist told me that based on what they’ve heard from staff members about that record, they were surprised the fork didn’t ignore it/outright pan it entirely. baffling.
