I’m not sure why we need to diss mumble rap in this thread? I think it’s fair to be happy that Pitchfork is covering this band. I’m always happy whenever I see my faves being covered by them (especially when they aren’t super popular like Wild Pink). The breadth of music Pitchfork covers is so wide and it’s nice them give attention to emo/smaller indie rock artists and bands. They weren’t always covering bands like Wild Pink.
Good to know this is now NOT a place I can share opinions without being ganged up on. Y’all sound like a couple of people who work for p4k. I started by praising chorus.fm for being the antithesis of p4k.
No one is ganging up on you. You share an opinion on here, it’s free game for people to reply back with their thoughts on your opinion.
My fault for having a few too many cocktails last night and word vomiting about Pitchfork. I love this record though, seriously.
“I'm interested in making a little world out of each song”: Wild Pink on channelling great songwriters on A Billion Little Lights
My tracking doesn't show anything beyond the label being created, though I was assured it was on the way. I am floored this album did not get the rub from Pitchfork.
Wild Pink can do no wrong, love this album. The instrumentation is so good across the album, and I love the melodies on songs like Pacific City.
