Not really feeling these 2 songs so far. Bummer because Two Dancers and Smother are great albums.

 

Anyone listen? It's not bad but 2BU is the only one that really left a mark on me, probably bc it's the only one that sounds like Wanderlust.

 

Haven't listened yet but this review makes me excited for it.

Boy King makes Wild Beasts’ back catalogue seem tame

 

I have a feeling this album will be analogous to my feelings on Mutemath - Vitals last year. The singles are all great, and I'm really excited to hear them in context of the album.

I absolutely adore it

 

Dreamliners is sooooooo fucking good.

 

"Dreamliners," "2BU," and "Ponytail" are probably my three favorites off here. I don't like this nearly as much as their last two (never listened to Two Dancers), but I still think it's really enjoyable.

 

Am I crazy/dumb or does the very ending of the Boy King Trash bonus track sound exactly like the Stranger Things intro?

Cool review. I mostly disagree with it -- I didn't like Present Tense much and haven't heard their back catalog, but I like this. I understand where the reviewer is coming from though

 

I think its as good as wild beasts :kanyeshrug:

 

Yeah idk this is one of my favorite albums of the year

 

The singles are a lot better in the context of the album.

 

I guess they broke up a few weeks back.
