They must be really really confident in it given the hit-or-miss of movie musicals. And I'm sure they're gonna put an insane amount of money into the marketing.

2025 will be the year of Defying Gravity being everywhere

wonder if both this and moana 2 will keep their shared release date

 

I just dislike this same kind of color palette and effects that could easily be mistaken for any “Fantastic Beasts” or recent Tim Burton movie. I really enjoy “Wicked” and the cast, but this doesn’t inspire a whole lot of excitement.

 

Wait they’re splitting this into TWO movies??

 

Agree on the color pallets for sure. Hard to feel like you’re in Oz when everything is grimdark. I’m sure Cynthia Erivo will be great but maaaaan I do not like that Defying Gravity riff
