If you're able to, go see them on this tour. It was my first time seeing them last night and they absolutely blew me away. I had no idea how intricate Yoni's involvement was in the instrumentation. All the guys sounded incredible and the set list was dope:

    Easy
    This Ole King
    These Few Presidents
    These Hands
    Gemini (Birthday Song)
    One Mississippi
    Proactivate Evolution
    Song of the Sad Assassin
    The Vowels Pt. 2
    White English
    George Washington
    The Barely Blur

    Acoustic Encore:
    Hoofs
    The Hollows
    Simeon's Dilemma

sounds awesome, i can't wait to see them next week. your comment reminds me of this video of josiah playing the xylophone or whatever and the drums at the same time. i've wanted to see them live ever since

I didn't see a xylophone next to Josiah, but Yoni had a keyboard and a couple drums around him, as well as some electronic pad he would hit for sound effects and samples. Dude was singing, hitting the drums/pads, and would flip the stick around in the air in the middle of it all like it was nothing. So good.

Out of every woman on earth, who will I mate with?
Or will I spit empty threats until all that's left is a million zeros printed on a roll of ticker-tape?
And one last echo of the final tiny wave in my wake?
Will all my unused seed collect like mercury In some kind of afterlife for halves?
Should I offer up my lats and pecs as stakes in death?

Finally got to see these guys live tonight and they absolutely killed it, even better that they played one of my favorite albums ever front to back. 10 years later and Alopecia has still never gotten old.
