i used to be obsessed with this band. definitely willing to give this a shot once it comes out.

 

Most anticipated release by far.

 

Alopecia is my most listened to album ever. So excited for new Why?

 

The Early Whitney EP is so, so good.

 

I should run back through all the albums so far, I always forget how much I enjoy this band

 

New song: WHY? – “This Ole King”

It's pretty different, but I'm digging it. I'll have to listen after work to get the lyrics down.

 

yeah..dunno how much i like the direction. feels very eskimo snow which is not my favorite

 

Eskimo Snow might be my favorite.

 

Have to be in a certain mood for Eskimo Snow but I think it is magnificent. New song might take a while to get used to. Normally the first thing that jumps out for me in a new Why? song are the lyrics and that's not happened with this one.

I'm cautious in my praise right now, because I really loved Mumps before it fell off *hard* for me, but this does seem, on first listen, to better and definitely more musically interesting than anything he's done since Alopecia.

 

If there's one thing that bothers me it's that it's basically only eight songs.

super bummed on this. not the direction i wanted to see em take at all, but to each their own.

just not for me.

 

I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. But I've only listened to it once.

 

Really don't think this is much of a departure from what they've done before, it's an enjoyable album for sure

 

I'll give it a listen sometime soon. I wasn't crazy about the new song the first time I heard it.

 

This is the best thing I've heard in 2017. Fight meeeeeee.
