This solo stuff isn’t doing it for me at all
it's a little too on-the-nose radio for me, not enough creativity
I think the solo stuff sucks, and for some reason I think Foxy is done. Which would make me sad.
Pretty simple, but I like this one
yeah it's on the better end of the solo stuff so far, still kinda blah though
I feel like this material is so bland and beneath what Eric is capable of but this is supposed to be pop music so go figure.
We're really going with the "pop music is bland and beneath a musician" take huh
Not all pop music is bland and beneath a musician. This pop music is bland and beneath Nally's talents.
I don't think anyone cares or is surprised he's gone the pop route, it was just expected it would line up with his previous output, which generally didn't suck this badly.
It's not pop in general, it's this particular output
Started revisiting their albums for the first time in awhile. Then i spent my lunch hour watching live videos of the energy and chaos they brought to the stage. I miss this band.
his solo EP never came out, hmmm
Hope the band is reuniting instead. Solo stuff sucked. I can't believe he agreed to tour with Macklemore for 2 years, playing 2 songs a night? That blows my mind.
It's not that surprising, it's good exposure and I'm sure the check is nice too.
I don't know, when he came here they were playing House of Blues, not some big arena. Although I am aware there were some bigger shows on the tour(s) too.
I'll say this, I like his Macklemore songs a ton more than the solo stuff I heard.
Eric did a Reddit AMA in August '17 and said, "there are indeed big plans for Foxy Shazam." Who knows what is going on at this point though.
I've heard rumors that the reunion is being planned for 2020. They all still hang out and collaborate, so I'm pretty sure Foxy is on all of their minds for the future.
Also this is cool
2020 is a long ways away but I'll take it.
I miss that band so much.
2020 is 16 months away
I was so shocked when he came out with Macklemore, I didn’t know he just toured around with him. It was my first time seeing him live too.
