I've always wondered how this was pronounced.

I always said The Herox

 

You are correct.

I loved Jason's joke on the podcast about pronouncing it "Thoreau," and I even used to play around with pronouncing it something weird like teh-hay-row. But it originated as a shortened version of my 9th grade band name, The Hero Experiment.

posting again, cause I posted that wayyyyy back.

 

I kinda stopped posting for the last two or so years of AP's life, but I was a bit of a jackass on there, anyway. I consider this a fresh start.

 

I was just thomasgriffin. Mostly just lurked around on AP and only had a total of like 20 posts, hoping to become more involved with the new site though

I thought you were one of the best Deftones fans on AP by a mile.

 

Hated by everyone.

 

I was hated by about 70%. I'd say half of the hate I deserved, the other half people were just rude.

 

I deserved most, though I played to a lot of it. I get a kick out of people blowing things out of proportion or when people confuse my shit talking for some deep seeded, anti-social justice rhetoric.

 

I'd like to think I was 100% loved on AP, if I had to put a number on it.

 

I'd have to say I was 95% unknown on AP haha

Hoping I can kinda make a name for myself here.
