Everything about this episode hurt my brain.

 

Georgia congressman was incredible, holy shit.

I don’t know anything about The Bachelor so that whole thing was kind of a wash for me

The Dick Cheney interview was pretty weak. Like, dick jokes, really? He gets no-name congressman to endorse kids having guns but comes to a Dick Cheney interview with some corny, played out stuff like that?

Those Kingman people were horrifying

Agree with this completely, felt very bad for Corinne the entire time.

 

This show is just completely wild, I find it hard to believe this stuff is real. Then again, we live in a truly surreal time so it fits.

Who, Exactly, Is the ‘Who’ in Sacha Baron Cohen’s ‘Who Is America?’?

 

I'm enjoying this show quite a bit, but I've always kind of been a stan for Da Ali G Show and Sacha in general. That being said, I can't disagree with the criticism. A lot of it feels forced and the characters aren't even close to be being as fleshed out as Ali G, Borat and Bruno.

It's great when he actually gets people to do/say insane shit on their own, but when he's force-feeding someone lines, it's definitely more about being uncomfortable in a situation and trying to conform to the social norm of the room, versus actually having these beliefs.

 

WOW this show actually got him to resign

The Georgia Republican who bared his ass to Sacha Baron Cohen and screamed the n-word is resigning

 

I wish the mosque meeting one was on YouTube...people need to see it.

 

If the people in that room watch their segment, I guarantee they won't even change their minds, it's that insane

 

I unfortunately know quite a few people who's reactions would be extremely similar to those in that room if presented with the idea of a $300 million mosque being built in their town.

 

I loved the first episode. Going to watch episode 2 tonight

 

after just watching this I have to give a resounding same. I felt compelled to post about it on fb bc the show is rly getting to me and I wish I could have had that clip to hold up as an example

I was expecting the Roy Moore bit to be a bit more scandalous considering how mad he was about it.

 

Agreed, I did still get quite a chuckle at it haha

 

The bit with the Trump supporters trying to learn how to “fight back” against Mexicans is so damn ridiculous.

 

ya a little over the top. not sure if it's real or not.

 

That scene with the cops was unreal.

 

I’d say that was the true highlight of the episode, the rest wasn’t as good in my book.
