This is such a great feel good record for me. It’s impossible to listen to this and stay down. Been great to throw on occasionally through all of the shit
Same. They had a date here in the beginning of March that got rained out. At the time, I was pretty relieved because it meant they’d be able to reschedule for a time when I wouldn’t be so nervous to be near a crowd of people — now I’m bummed because that could be like... way longer than I had in mind 7 weeks ago.
Been following this band and seeing them live since their first EP dropped in 2014 (the dudes in Together Pangea turned me onto them). I was loving everything they did until this record. It has some solid ass jams, without a doubt, I even have the record on vinyl - but it just pales in comparison to The World’s Best American Band. I’m sure I’m in the minority on this but this record just feels very safe way too polished that it kind of takes away that raw energy the past two records had. I don’t know - I just never return to this record ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Band is too good to not be working on new stuff. They were my last concert BC, and I wouldn't mind them being my first one back.
Heard “might be right” in Kroger the other day. Was weird but cool. Would love to see some this album live, assuming live music comes back at some point
This album sounds really cool in Dolby Atmos on Apple Music. There’s some other rock-ish music that I think sounds kinda bad with it, but it totally works here.
About spatial audio with Dolby Atmos in Apple Music that explains pretty much everything. no special equipment needed for the atmos stuff, just some headphones.
I prefer World’s Best American Band but Love is good too. I’m sure a new record is in the works and I’m stoked to see where it goes!
Putting that one on next and I hope something new is in the works. I also feel like the band name does hold them back a bit.
I can’t listen to an album by this band without then going through the entire discography. Not one bad release
