I'm really enjoying this. I hadn't heard of them before reading the Pitchfork BNM review and this isn't normally my go to genre, but I keep coming back to this again and again. "Dead Weight" is an incredible opener and it never lets up after that.
This album is still one of my favorites of the year -- wish I wasn't out of town when they played NY.
This is exactly where I'm at right now. Wow. I'm super into this. So many entrancing effects alongside these crazy vocals, but the rhythm section's just playing so fucking quickly. Is the rest of their discography this solid? Probably a bit less varied than this one, yeah?
This is definitely the most varied and most catchy. Other ones are a lot less polished but it's all great. Especially the last record. This is their best work though.
The tones on this record feel pretty unique to me. In addition to the songs being awesome, sonically it is out of this world
finally got around to listening to this album after not being impressed with deep fantasy. haven't been able to put this album down. every track is killer
Yeah, for me, this is leaps and bounds above their first two albums. I can't get into those at all, but I come back to this often.
Really tight set at Osheaga yesterday. Shame Mish was so visibly angry or upset, made for some awkward moments, especially when she was giving the crowd shit for knowing the words to a "song about miscarriage" (Dead Weight).
Greys were incredible live. Almost better than White Lung were when they played together. Super nice, too
i thought greys were okay live but the album was solid. leans a little too surfy at times for me also the venue i saw them at sucks soundwise so that could have something to do with it
