I can't justify not spending only $150 to go to this

This venue has a large room with a capacity of 550 and a small room of 300 capacity.. I'm confused

This fest is on the grounds, so it's outside, and I'd assume they'd use the inside stages for the undercard

That's cool, I was confused for a second haha

    She haunts the roads

They had the same set up for Chain Fest last year, although as I understand it was kind of a clusterfuck having so many people moving from outside to inside. Hopefully they'll have a better handle on it this year.

For the record, that venue is easily the worst I've ever been to.

is that really much different than 99.9% of the summer festivals?

Yeah, it's not significant but lots of r&b and pop singers and synth pop bands and other female led indie acts usually take up like 25% of a bill, not even any rap on this, this is allllll white dudes minus like three or four people

Holy shit this lineup rules. Too bad I'm on the other side of this country.

    So assuming that this weekend...

Godspeed to whomever goes to this. The layout they had for Chainfest last year was a nightmare, and I felt legitimately concerned for my safety at multiple times during the fest.

    What's wrong with the layout?

Parking was like 3 miles from the venue and they never even advertised where it was so it took quite a bit to find out about it, then they had shuttles to take you to the venue but we waited like an hour for the shuttle and it wasn't clear where it was going to be either, then it was insanely packed and it was impossible to get to the indoor stage which was already a serious fire hazard and iirc security was shit and pretty violent

This same thing happened at Beach Goth too but worse I think? Same venue

    So assuming that this weekend...

    Basically what ComedownMachine said.

I was one of the lucky ones who got parking at the venue right before it filled up and people had to park miles away. However, they don't cap the amount of people who come inside for the side stage inside the venue. Trying to get in or out after a band finishes was an absolute nightmare. It was probably the most crushed I've ever felt at a show. It was this that made me feel unsafe, and it basically killed my desire to go back to one of the Observatory festivals.

Senses Fail 'Still Searching' show is also day one of this (inside and what I have a ticket for). Fully expecting this to be a clusterfuck. Maybe this bleeds into Constellation Room with the amount of bands playing.

Thankfully my sister lives about a mile away so I'll just take a lyft there.

Does anyone know of someone who needs tickets? I have two extra VIP and two extra General Admission tickets for the whole weekend. Let me know :)
