Haha yeah same. Follow all the bands you wanna see on Twitter and Instagram and if something happens, I’m sure they’ll post about it.
Yup, that seems right. There's definitely a debate about whether or not the festival should have made it clear that there was the possibility of impacts from strong winds on Saturday. It's often a lose-lose situation, but we consult with festivals and sports events frequently and my advice is *always* to be as transparent as possible with people. I'm a bit surprised that the festival didn't at least mention the possibility of impacts to the operations today when the forecast for strong winds was clear 2-3 days in advance.
I just check stubhub and they had a GA pass for tomorrow for $180. don’t give up hope so quickly keep refreshing
Yeah I wouldn't have come to this if MCR wasn't at the top of the bill so I'm gutted regardless of what happens
Feel really bad for everyone who took vacation time, booked flights, hotel rooms... sounds like festival is doing the responsible thing but that really sucks for everyone who is now stuck in the hole
As bummed as I’d be if I were there, I’d be spending tonight wandering the strip trying to find band members at blackjack tables haha. At least there’s a chance at some cool memories.
Buddy if you're lurking how bout you play let it enfold you all the way through to help me drown my sorrows (metaphorically)
I just had a friend message me the cancellation post and wrote “told you this would get cancelled.” my brain hurts at how stupid people are. A festival getting cancelled under the advice of the city due to extreme weather conditions does not mean it was a scam.
