Me and some of my friends are going. Should be fun, if you are on the fence just think about it as a one in a lifetime concert, it's not like they are going to tour with this lineup of band members.
Haha I didn't mind it.. still the whole process took longer. But yes it's better to spend time drinking the drink than just standing in line
Ok sure it’ll be fun but “doors at 8” implies something super late and I plan on starting WWWY at 11 when doors open so that’d be a challenge for my old bones
Honestly, I think a lot of it has to do with whether or not you actually went to Warped Tour or not. My brain immediately went to "headliners get 1 hour, a few bands get 45, and everybody else gets 20-30." And it's actually worked out way better than I thought it would, TBH. If they can pull it off with those 15 minute set changes, I will be amazed.
At most US festivals I've been to, I don't remember ever really queuing for a beer. Contrast that with Primavera in Barcelona this year, waiting like 30 minutes or so. So bad.
Food lines are generally a bigger issue for me at fests than drinks. There's usually bars placed in more, and more convenient, locations
I think the worst experience I had with food/drink vendor lines was Bamboozle 2012. I spent 60 minutes waiting to buy a bottle of water. most festivals, especially Bonnaroo and Riot, it wouldn’t take more than 5 minutes
For the sunday crew, great weather. High of 67 with some clouds. Saturday might actually be shadier but hotter.
I really wish there was some sort of law or regulation requiring festivals to have [x] amount of free water filling stations around the park grounds.
Anyone figure out how to use the WWWY app yet? Still not seeing the schedule, it just says coming soon
