Honestly the only major conflict I have is AAR and Poppy. It's a little tough because AAR never tour (but I have seen them) and I haven't seen Poppy (but she tours frequently). I'll probably go with AAR and catch Poppy on tour. Lots of bands I'd love to see given the ability to be in two places at once but that's the only conflict with two artists I equally wanted to see.
Oof. That’s concerning. Will has had to cancel a lot of shows this year due to health issues. I seriously hope he’s okay
I have a friend I was going to stay with in Vegas who may be bailing on me (which may end my ability to go which is already tentative), and there’s no airbnbs or hotels for under $1000 for the weekend. Anybody have any insight to something reasonable or have an extra bed?
Does anyone think there's any chance any last minute shows will be added this week before the festival from bands playing at the festival?
Wait a minute. Im looking at the map. The vip area gets all of the front for one of the main stages????
Is it? Thats kinda.....horseshit and super unusual (at least compared to my history of going to riot and bamboozls)
Originally both Black and Pink were all VIP at the front, after lots of backlash, they made Black stage to be half GA half VIP, but Pink is still all VIP
Isn't that the opposite of what VIP normally is? It's normally to the side and elevated so you're not smashed at the front getting blasted by tower speakers. I always thought VIP was meant for the 'I want a comfortable festival experience' (thinking glamping vs camping) people than 'I'm paying to be in front'.
yes exactly. If VIP can only get access to the front, that should be advertised when tickets go on sale.
Looks like VIP doesn't matter to Neon or Stripe Stage at all. And only half affects Black and Checker. It's really only Pink getting screwed
Like exactly. Every festival that I've ever know, thats the norm. Early acess for the line, better bathrooms, lockers, a more chill experience near stages. Its never been, you get an entire main stage front to yourself. Lame
I feel like that kind of VIP area should have been explained before tickets went on sale. The main issue is they didn’t tell anyone until a few weeks before the festival.
There are merch tents indicated with a yellow t logo. It looks like it'll be grouped by stage so there's a merch area near each stage that I assume will mean merch from all the bands that play there that day so you may need to visit multiple tents. EDIT: I see three. Checker and stripe, 1 near neon and then 1 near black and pink stage.
it’s likely WWWY merch and one shirt from each band, 2 for headliners like almost every festival I’ve gone to. probably no separate merch tents though
